Wake Up at Our Bed and Breakfast in Western North Carolina
Breakfast is made up of a hearty main course, sometimes savory and sometimes sweet, served on fine china with crystal and silver. It is accompanied with juice, a fruit dish, meat, and homemade bread or muffins. We make every effort to use fresh, local produce when available. Blueberries and blackberries are picked in the summer on the mountain and often used in our dishes. Apple dishes are popular in the fall as they are plentiful in the area. Our main dishes can vary from egg strata, herbed scrambled eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes with a berry compote, to baked French toast with pecans and fruit topping to name a few.
You may choose to eat with other guests, have a private breakfast at your own table in the dining room, or dine at a vintage patio table creek side on the veranda. When possible, the time for breakfast is flexible to meet the desires of the guests.
Prior to breakfast, early risers can enjoy coffee, tea or hot chocolate from the beverage station in the hallway outside the guest bedrooms. Beverages will also be available any time of day or night.
We will attempt to meet special dietary needs with at least seven days’ advance notice to the Innkeeper.
